Peterborough Airport - Logo design
The City of Peterborough was looking to develop a new logo to reflect and support the changing of their business model from civil aviation to the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) business line.
CASE STUDY
The new logo needed to be able to be applied on all print, signage, web and multimedia applications as well as support sub-branding.

We consulted with our client and toured the facility while it was under construction to better understand their needs and expectations. We started by researching the MOR business line and their competitors. The MRO business is global and the business opportunities are directly related to the length of the runway, as well as the nature of the businesses in the area that support that business. We broke the globe into three section using negative space to create shapes to represent both aviation and the runway. The three negative shapes represent the three different business lines as well as the three sub brands being General Aviation, Air Terminal and Aerospace.
The client was impressed by the service we provided, the professional look of the logo, as we met all of their requirements and surpassed their expectations. The project was completed on time and on budget.
